The Lone Cypress Tree

June 11, 2013 by Classystaff

I love the water be it lake or ocean. I grew up by a lake and spent many thousands of hours in and on the water and I really cannot think about not being able to be near it. One of my favorite places to go is the Monterey area, right in the Pebble Beach and Carmel communities. It is so gorgeous there! I could stay and never come home!

Lone Cypress Tree in California

Sunday, we decided to take a family drive so we headed for our favorite spot at Bird Rock. We then drove through Pebble Beach to a famous landmark, the Lone Cypress. This is a picture of that tree that my son took with his phone believe it or not! Gorgeous and so peaceful

What a beautiful sight to go to the beach on such a nice day to see the water and this tree. What a neat place to have a tree right by the water. Great picture!

It is a hauntingly beautiful photo – and to think it was taken with a phone. It show that nature can prevail against all odds.

WOW! That is so beautiful! We are a water family as well – we live on the lake and spend LOTS of time at the beach!

WOW! It still looks so hauntingly beautiful! I saw it in 1988 when I visited the US!
