The Monster High Toy Doll Craze

My little granddaughter along with all of her friends are into the Monster High toy dolls. Have you seen them yet? These girls are crazy for them and are collecting them. Every time they get together they want to play with their Monster High dolls. It’s the number 1 thing that they’re into right now.

I think some of the dolls are quite cute while others are…well, not cute at all. The one thing as a grandparent that I don’t like is that these little girls now want fancy on-trend clothing and want to wear make-up like the dolls which isn’t appropriate for their age group. I think toys, movies, tv programs, etc. are all trying to get our little girls to grow up way too fast.

So far the Princess has 7 of the Monster High Dolls along with several accessories. Her mom (my daughter) stores all of them in an old suitcase which keeps the dolls, their clothing, accessories, etc. all together. I thought that was a great idea. It’s a trolley style…so she can easy take it from room to room or with her when she goes to visit a friend.
