USANA Proflavonal C100 Health Supplement

USANA Proflavonal C100 Health Supplement

For the past few months I have been making all kinds of changes in my life to help improve my health. One of those changes includes adding a variety of vitamin and health supplements to my daily diet. While I am not a “health nut”, I am trying to incorporate in the basic things.

Recently I was sent a bottle of the USANA Proflavonal C100 to try out for all of you. As someone who catches every germ that goes around, I knew I had to add some vitamin C to my vitamin regimen.

The USANA Proflavonal C100 combines grape-seed extract with Vitamin C, providing an important tool in the quest for overall good health. It is clinically shown to promote sound cardiovascular health and supports balanced immune function.

The bottle that I received for the review contained 56 tablets and the recommended dosage is 2 tablets every day. Each serving contains 200mg Grape Seed Extract and 600mg Poly Vitamin C Blend (calcium, magnesium, potassium and zinc).

I started taking 2 of them a day (as recommended on the bottle) and I have to say…I haven’t caught any colds while taking it. The vitamin doesn’t have any nasty after-tastes to it at all and it doesn’t make me burp like others I have tried.

My one and only complaint would be the size of the vitamins…I tend to like my vitamins a lot smaller in size due to some swallowing problems that I have thanks to my TMJ issue. Although they are larger in size than what I prefer, I was able to get them down.

I can not speak to the long term effects of taking this supplement as I only received one bottle which lasted me a little over 3 weeks. I do know that we all don’t consume enough vitamin C in our daily diet, so taking it in a supplement form is important.

You can visit USANA and check out all of the vitamins & health supplements that they have to offer. They have a very informative web site and as someone who is just learning about supplements, I learned quite a bit by just browsing around their site. Thanks USANA!

I am glad that the vitamin seems to have helped you for the 3 weeks you took it. I take extra C every day and other vitamins and supplements too. I also do not like those large pills to swallow, but if necessary I manage it with extra water. I hope you are taking extra vitamins right now during your recovery/recuperation.
