Silicone Kitchen Accessories by Charles Viancin

May 25, 2013 by Shelly

I spend a lot of time in my kitchen and that time is always well-spent since I am passionate about cooking and baking wonderful foodie items for my family to enjoy. When it comes to kitchen accessories and kitchen tools, well…I am always on the hunt for the latest and greatest things to make my cooking life easier.

Well today, I get to introduce you to a line of silicone kitchen accessories by Charles Viancin and up until now, it was a brand that I was unfamiliar with. With that said, I was super excited to learn more about this company and their products, so I jumped at the chance to review a few of them for you.

The great folks over at Charlies Viancin sent me 3 products to check out for all of you. I received the Violet Overboil Silicone Ring, the Lily Pad Silicone Bowl Lid and a set of the Rose Bud Silicone Finger Grips.

Just like most of you, I am constantly boiling water to cook pasta or to steam vegetables and over-boil has been a constant problem for me since I am always trying to multi-task in the kitchen. The Violet Overboil Silicone Ring is the answer to that problem and it’s amazing at how simple something is that can solve it! You simply place their over-boil ring onto the top of your pot and all of the steam and bubbles come up through the center…hence preventing an over-boil and mess! Yay!!!

Silicone Mixing Bowl LidThe Lily Pad Silicone Lid is absolutely fantastic and one of my new favorite products! I use a lot of glass, stoneware and ceramic bowls in my kitchen and almost all of them didn’t come with lids. This silicone lid will fit a multiple sizes of bowls and it seals on tight…just place it onto a smooth bowl rim and you are done! It can go into the freezer, the microwave oven and into the refrigerator with no problems at all.

The Rose Bud Silicone Finger Grips have a magnet inside and can be attached to the side of your microwave or refrigerator which keeps them within reach. I love to use them when I need to take a hot bowl out of my microwave oven to protect my fingers and if you ask me, they are better than using bulky hot pads for sure! Love them!

I am really impressed with all of these kitchen accessories by Charles Viancin and I am looking forward to checking out more of their product line in the future. Head on over to their website and take a look for yourself…some really unique & cool kitchen things!

i as well have never heard of Charles Viancin, but now I am LOVE with the Silicone Lid – this is a MUST have, in multiples, to get rid of the plastic wrap and foil that are bad for the environment (and health) in so many ways. Thanks for tuning me in to this company’s stuff!

Before your review I had nor heard of Charles Viancin, but now I am very glad that I read this account. I am not sure which impresses me more the Lily Pad lid or the Rose Bud grips. I also like that this site is inspired by nature.
