Luxury Hospital Gowns from Silver Moon Bay

I am really excited to introduce to you the company called Silver Moon Bay based out of the great state of California. The company is owned and operated by Annie Cholakian and they specialize in selling attractive, functional and comfortable hospital gowns!

The luxury hospital gowns that they sell are proudly made here in the U.S.A. and can be worn at home, in a rehab center or taken with you to a hospital. A lot of mom-to-be’s are bringing their own maternity hospital gowns to the hospital with them and now those of us who are not pregnant can bring our own designer hospital gowns too!

In the past I have told you all how I suffer with a rare genetic disease called Porphyria. In addition to that, I have epilepsy and chronic kidney stone problems. Just recently I learned that I needed a hip replacement and I was determined to find some designer hospital gowns to take into the hospital with me.

The great folks over at Silver Moon Bay sent me 2 complimentary hospital gowns to check out for all of you. To say I was excited about this…well, that would be an understatement! I was totally ecstatic to be reviewing some luxury hospital gowns for all of you. I wear them in the hospital and after I come home from the hospital, so that I am more comfortable and look decent while I am recuperating.

The first gown that I received is a soft cotton jersey knit hospital gown done in a pretty light lavender color. It is made out of super soft 100% cotton and is machine wash, tumble dry.  The front of this gown has a pretty dark purple Moroccan inspired embroidery design. This is a short sleeve gown snaps open and shut on the top of each shoulder and it snaps around the back neckline.

Out of the 2 hospital gowns that I received for the review…this one is my favorite! It feels super soft against your skin and I love the gown’s length and sleeve length on this one. I have an implanted IV Mediport in my right upper chest and my nurses can easily unsnap the shoulder, get to my IV port and do what they need to do!

The second gown that I received for the review looks more like a traditional hospital gown…but a heck of a lot better! The Lisette Snap Shoulder Hospital Gown is made out of 98% cotton and 2% spandex. It is machine wash, tumble dry low. It is done in white with a tiny black dot print…then trimmed in hot pink around the short sleeves and around the neck opening. In addition, there is a small hot pink bow on the neckline which gives it a very feminine touch!

The gown features snap-style shoulders for easy access and the back features a cross-over snap closing for privacy. I love the length on this gown which gives you great coverage and I love the “cool” feeling of the fabrication against my skin. When you take heavy narcotics for pain control…night sweats are an issue…this cool fabrication made me feel a LOT cooler and more comfortable.

I love these gowns so much…that I have added them to my birthday want-list since my birthday is coming up in June! Matter of fact, I would like an entire new wardrobe of them as they are super comfortable and suit my medical needs perfectly!
