One of my favorite things to use are totes. I have many different ones all in different sizes and materials and they all have a great purpose for me. I was asked to do a review on a beautiful handmade reusable market tote by a work at home mom with a cool etsy business called Lil’ Alice so I thought that would be an awesome idea!
Lil’ Alice is a business run by Katy Reitz and it is a cute place to buy Made in Michigan products. Lil’ Alice specializes in making custom aprons, essential zip pouches in various sizes and the most wanted accessories! Katy loves to sew and create and she does all of it herself. I was sent one of her reusable Market Totes and her matching Slim Pouch to review for you today in a fun zebra like print fabric, which is the perfect choice for me!
Well, I am not sure that fabric is the right word for this. It is somewhat like a canvas, but it is lighter and has a cool texture to it. – (Just found out it is called Utility Fabric – never knew that.) It almost feels like it is waterproof. This bag is a very nice size and it is sturdy enough to hold groceries and goodies. The tote has a nice flat bottom so you can stand it up to load it. The handles are short for hand carrying. It is a great bag to take to the farmers market and to keep in your car for anytime you need to tote stuff to and fro.
The Slim Pouch that Katy added is a great size zip pouch to use any time. It is the right size to tuck in your purse to hold money keys, lip gloss, sunglasses; you name it. It works wonderfully with the market tote so you have a place to hold your keys and money without having to lug a purse when you are out shopping. I love that!
