Back when I was pregnant with my son, my chemical system in my bod went a little nuts. All of a sudden, I could no long wear the pierced earring that I had worn for 15 or more years. My ears would get infected, bleed and hurt to wear any earrings. I would get big knots in my ears if I did. I tried dipping the posts in antibiotic ointment before wearing, but nothing helped. So I took them out and still today, I have issues with my ears if I try and wear some earrings. It is weird. I can wear any kind of rings, bracelets, etc, but just not earrings. But I miss wearing earrings and I have been successful wearing some clip style ones so when I was asked to do a review on some handcrafted jewelry and accessories that included clip earrings, I thought it would be fun to check out some new styles.

I was excited to choose a lovely clip that was neither long and dangling and not a post either. It is a great length for anytime.
The drop clip earrings I got is called the clip2-11. While it is not a glamorous name, the earring is a great color combination for me. It has a goldtone square post with a raised center for a 3d effect. Underneath, there is a gold loop the that dangle part hangs from. The beads are a topaz and a pale white pearl. These are perfect colors for me because they will mix so well with my clothing and my skintone.
When I clipped them on, I liked the fit of the clip. It it not overly large so it fit comfortably on my earlobe and it is not super tight to make them uncomfortable to wear. I have to say, I did pretty well with them. I was able to wear them to church and they didn’t start itching my ears until I got home, so that is not bad! Maybe I am getting over my allergy.
I really love this length of these earrings too! They are just right for me and my casual ways. Plus they can be dressed up or down! I had a really hard time choosing because Shaune Bazner offers so many different earring in the clip on style. I have not seen a selection like that in a long time.
