Beautiful Non-Toxic Hylunia Skin Care Products

I recently had the opportunity to review three skincare products from Hylunia: the Intensive Repair Eye Cream, the Facial Day Lotion and the Colloidal Silver Spray with Lavender Floral Water. I always look forward to trying new products for my face and body as I’m constantly looking for solutions to my various “problem” areas. These products were all fantastic, luxurious and effective.

Aging is a formidable foe, especially now that I’m in my 40’s, but I firmly believe that if we take care of our skin and bodies inside and out, we can fend off the signs of aging for much longer than the women who conquered crow’s feet and dark circles long before us. To be honest, I don’t have much in the way of crow’s feet since I’ve always protected my skin pretty well, but the dark circles are definitely a challenge for me.

I’ve been using the Hylunia Intensive Repair Eye Cream for about a week and a half and while it’s hard to see significant differences yet, I have noticed subtle differences, especially in relation to the puffiness I sometimes get in the morning. This product contains a specially formulated complex of eight peptides that minimize fine lines, puffiness and dark circles and is designed to renew and protect the delicate skin around your eyes. The high-performing anti-oxidants in this cream will visibly brighten and even the skin under your eyes and the anti-inflammatory agents like Green Tea, Turmeric and Pumpkin Seed Polypeptides soothe dry and irritated skin, and make it visibly smoother. This product is recommended for all skin types and works for all ages.

Another product I’ve been using is the Hylunia Facial Day Lotion, which comes in a fairly generous size with a convenient little pump on the top. It’s an all-in-one day formula that is packed with the super-moisturizer, Hyaluronic Acid, combined with anti-oxidants to minimize wrinkles and prevent premature aging. Micro-sized titanium dioxide provides effective blocking of photo-damaging ultraviolet A and B rays, which is a must for me. I always use additional sunscreen too, just to ensure my face is protected. I think back to when I was a teenager trying to get a good tan—slathering my body in baby oil! I still can’t believe I ever did that with my extremely fair skin! I think we all know better now or at least we all should!

Some of the other key ingredients in the Hylunia Facial Day Lotion are Grape Seed Extract, Plant Peptides and Alteromonas Macleodii, which is a rare ocean organism that is used to correct inflammation caused by acne, rosacea, psoriasis and other skin conditions. This lotion is so smooth and light–I can’t believe how soft my skin feels. I also really like that it is unscented. I’ve used some moisturizers in the past that I didn’t enjoy as much because of the scent. Just squeeze a small amount on your palm and gently apply over face and neck daily after cleansing. It works well alone or under make-up and is suitable for all skin types.

The last product I’ve been using is the Hylunia Colloidal Silver Spray with Lavender. It’s one of Hylunia’s best-selling products and I understand why. This is a refreshing spray toner that combines the curative powers of Colloidal Silver with the soothing properties of Lavender to keep your skin soft, healthy and radiant. On the web site, I found it under the psoriasis/eczema tab and since my son has suffered from eczema off and on for years, I thought it would be worth a try. Not only has this spray helped his skin, but I have been using it every day on my face after washing and moisturizing. The lavender scent is subtle, but lovely and feels like a burst of happy on your skin. This was my favorite product out of the three and I would give this a 10 out of 10 if I were grading on a scale. It’s fresh, cooling and is made for all skin types and is not only perfect for the skin conditions I mentioned above, but is also ideal for people who may be suffering from acne, cuts or burns.

Overall, the Hylunia products are premium skin care products that exceeded my expectations. Obviously, from my gushing above, the Colloidal Silver Spray was my absolute favorite, but all of the products I used were high-quality and gave my skin the extra love that it needed.
