I love handcrafted natural bath & body products and have been using them for years. Over time, I have realized the importance of using natural products on my skin and today, I get to introduce you to a new company out in the marketplace called Lovinah Naturals.
The company is owned and operated by Joy Ekhator and the company got it’s official start back in November of 2012. When you shop at Lovinah Naturals, you will find natural body washes, body lotions and body creams.
The company mission: Our mission is offering total wellness using 100% Unrefined Shea Butter from West Africa to handcraft personal care products for skin and hair conditions. Our dedication is ensuring the highest standards are met, in handcrafting our products, making our products safe and effective by using the highest quality natural ingredients to create Eco-luxe products for all ages, while also positively impacting the lives of children through our Global kids project foundation, by providing an early childhood scholarship to children in West Africa.
The company sent me 2 full-size products to review for all of you. For the review, I received a bottle of the Lovinah Naturals Shea Rose Vanilla Ultra Moisturizing Natural Body Wash and a bottle of the Lovinah Naturals Shea Rose Vanilla Ultra Moisturizing Natural Body Lotion. These are natural products made with no chemical or artificial preservatives.
The products do not contain parabens, mineral oil, sodium lauryl, sulphate, dye, fragrance, silicones or any harmful ingredients. They are manufactured in an FDA registered laboratory & tested (not on animals).
Regarding the scent, I am all about foodie scents and have always loved vanilla. I wasn’t sure if I would like the vanilla mixed with the rose (a light floral) but was pleasantly surprised at how much I am loving the two scents combined. Next, the body wash is fantastic and I get a nice luxurious lather when I use it. Once done, it rinses away cleanly and leaves my skin moisturized and lightly fragranced.
The natural body lotion has a wonderful creamy consistency to it…not runny nor too thick, just perfect. It smells just like the body wash and glides onto the body nicely. It absorbs quickly and leaves no greasiness or stickiness behind. You can immediately get dressed after applying this body lotion which is a huge plus in my book. In addition, within 3 to 4 days of using it, I saw the moisture content in my skin dramatically increase…by at least 60% if not more.
Overall, I am really impressed with these two products and plan to continue to use them until gone. I love how my skin feels after using them and equally important is that delicious rose & vanilla scent.
