Vividly Restorative Skin Purifier by Adventuress

April 1, 2013 by Shelly

Vividly Restorative Skin Purifier by AdventuressToday I would like to introduce you to the skin care company called Adventuress. This company was founded on the principle of providing active women with a simplified and protective skin care routine. The company just introduced a new skin care collection that is specifically formulated to combat nature’s elements.

Outdoors enthusiast and passionate motorcyclist, Michele Carter, founded Adventuress after years of experiencing firsthand how harsh winds and weather can easily damage skin.  Cater spent years in research & development creating a revolutionary line of products that meet the needs of adventurous women everywhere.

The company sent me a bottle of the Vividly Restorative Skin Purifier to review for all of you. As a woman who is turning 46 years old this June, I need all of the skin care help that I can get!

Vividly Restorative Skin Purifier will help to unblock pores while hydrating and firming your skin by using the power of quince seed and other naturally occurring fruit and plant extracts with this purifying, restorative serum. It is packed with micronutrients to restore skin’s youthful radiance. The serum is fragrance-free and paraben-free.

Directions: Use AM and PM on a clean face and neck.

For the past two weeks, I have been using this face serum twice a day, as recommended on the package directions. One of the things I like about this serum is that it comes in a plastic pump bottle! I really dislike serums that are in glass bottles as I tend to knock them off my vanity and they break. I prefer skin care products packaged in plastic jars and bottles.Vividly Restorative Skin Purifier by Adventuress

Next, I appreciate that there is no fragrance in this product at all. There are times (especially during the springtime) when fragrance “anything” sets my allergies off. You only need a little bit of this serum, as it goes a long way! I pump 2 small squirts onto my hands and then use my fingertips to gently massage it onto my skin. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t make your skin sticky or shiny.

I didn’t notice any difference to my skin at all during the first 4 to 5 days. After that, I started seeing some changes. I noticed that my pores seem to be smaller, my skin look better moisturized and I felt that I had some “glow” to my cheeks. Yay! I am going to continue to use it and finish up this bottle to see if I can get even more positive effects from using the product.

Overall, I am pretty impressed with this serum! I usually stay away from serums as they tend to make my face oily and greasy…but this one does not! I give it 9 out of 10 stars on my rating scale. I deducted 1 star because I thought the packaging was kind of plain (doesn’t reflect on the product inside).

With a name like Adventuress I would have thought they would have done something more striking with the packaging. it is great that this serum does not eave your face greasy. I would like to know if you did have more positive effects (more firming, more glow) after finishing the bottle.
