Spring is finally here and it’s time to update our family’s Spring wardrobe. For many of you that means shopping on a budget and finding great fashions that you can afford. While the Dollar General Store is known for household items, food and cleaning products…they are also known for fashions too!

Every time I go out shopping, I am always buying a few things for my precious 4 year old grand daughter and Dollar General has the most adorable little girls summer dresses that I have seen in a very long time!
I spotted this little girl’s dress in their apparel book and immediately fell in-love with it. In addition to summer dresses for girls, Dollar General has shorts, skirts, tees, tanks and even summer pajamas too!
Don’t worry though…they didn’t forget the guys! Dollar General has tees, tanks, shorts, slacks, socks and shoes for the guys too! I spotted several pairs of khaki colored shorts that I know my hubby would love…plus, he needs new shorts this summer season!
I am hoping to get to my local Dollar General store this weekend and trust me, I will be buying! I love going shopping at Dollar General because I stay well within my household’s budget and I can pick up great items that my family needs!

For some reason I don’t think of Dollar General as a place to buy clothes. I get household stuff there. I’ll have to check it out.
My daughter just wrote an article on things to buy at a dollar store. Some of it was very surprising. One of the things she mentioned was apparel, especially nurses or children. Dollar stores often have character clothing and fashions to catch the eye. Double your deal by buying in the off season when even Dollar General clearances their things.
People often overlook the Dollar stores such as Dollar General, but as you have pointed out you can find lots of nice things including fashions there. One of the items I have bought there are men’s shirts.
