How many of you watched The Bible when it aired on the History channel? I know we did and we didn’t miss a single episode! Well guess what? You can now buy The Bible on Blu-ray and DVD as of April 2nd, 2013. Here is some information about it.

Our Thoughts: As I previously stated early on in this blog post, hubby and I watched The Bible as it originally aired on the History Channel. As each episode went on, we got more and more engrossed in the movie. We have always enjoyed watching those classic biblical movies together but over time…we got bored with them due to them being out-dated. We were pretty happy to learn that a new and improved version was coming to TV and to DVD.
We received the entire movie series The Bible on Blu-ray DVD and were super excited to receive it for our review. We wanted to watch it again and really take our time viewing it…so that we didn’t miss anything, like a few tidbits that we missed the first time around.
Viewing the series (movie) the second time around was absolutely PRICELESS! The story line is “spot on” and the acting job that the actors & actressed did for this series was fantastic…quality job for sure! Hubby and I were even more impressed watching it the second time around!
In our opinion, if you are a christian, this is a MUST SEE and MUST ADD DVD Set to add to your video collection! We are looking forward to watching it again next week when we have company here for a few days. Awesome!

We were able to watch part of the series, but unfortunately not all, so I am very glad that it has already come out on DVD and BluRay. We often find that we can enjoy a movie more and find things we missed the first time when we see the movie again.

Thank you! My family was very interested in the Bible when on TV. We recorded it to watch together, but I was thrilled when my daughter called to inform me about the blu ray version. We preordered it from Amazon and waited. Finally, it came. We just started it today as a family, and it has really got us talking. I had read a review that it wasn’t true to the Bible and that had me worried. Thank you for helping me with that. So good to hear that it stays true. We are enjoying it, and I am thinking I will have to buy it for my mom. It’s just one of those dvds that you want to own.
