Kool-Aid Launches New Brand Campaign
Kool-Aid, the iconic refreshment beverage you know and love, launched a new campaign this week and has given its “spokespitcher”, Kool-Aid Man, a complete makeover, which includes a whole new CGI-generated image and his very own voice. And, like any digitally-savvy brand ambassador, Kool-Aid Man will have his own personal Facebook page where he will interact with fans like never before! Kool-Aid’s new campaign includes:
* A Complete Kool-Aid Man Makeover
* He will now be CGI-generated and much more pitcher-focused
* A developed personality – Fans will finally get to know the real Kool-Aid Man by observing his daily routine: taking a shower, brushing his teeth, getting dressed in a closet full of Kool-Aid flavor “outfits,” interacting with neighbors and working out at the gym, as only a giant pitcher could
* Finding his voice – Besides his infamous “Oh Yeah,” Kool-Aid Man hasn’t said very much in the last 25 years. That is all going to change now with a new distinctive, identified voice
* Launch of a brand new product, Sugar-Free Kool-Aid Liquid, with a vibrant and personality-driven print and broadcast campaign
* Imaginative RKA TV spots with a CGI-generated Kool-Aid Man serving up the fun
* Free Photo Bomb iPhone/Android app that allows fans to superimpose Kool-Aid Man into their favorite pictures in a fun, sharable format
Kool-Aid just launched a new product called Kool-Aid Liquid, a sugar-free liquid drink mix that you squeeze into water to create delicious Kool-Aid flavor. The 1.62 fl. oz. sized bottles, shaped like the Kool-Aid man, give you the power to carry 24 servings with you in your purse, pocket, backpack or gym bag. It is available in 4 great-tasting flavors: Tropical Punch, Cherry, Grape and Orange. Kool-Aid Liquid is available in the beverage mix section of mass market and grocery stores across the nation.
I received 8 complimentary bottles of the new Kool-Aid Liquid to review for all of you. As soon as they arrived, the family picked their favorite flavors and they were off and running! My hubby went for the cherry, daughter Jenelle selected the Tropical Punch, grand daughter Gia went for Orange and I went for the classic Grape.
Each bottle I sealed with plastic protective wrap which comes off pretty easily. You then fill up your glass with 8 fl. oz. of water and squeeze in some of the Kool-Aid flavoring. They recommend one squeeze, but I found I preferred two. These bottles are nice & compact which makes them super portable. A great way to take your favorite flavors out and about with you as you go throughout your day.
Overall, we loved them and will be purchasing more of them. Our favorite 2 flavors were the cherry and the grape…which have always been our favorite Kool-Aid flavors! Yummy good!
