For the Love of Fishing!

Fishing

When I was a little girl, my brother used to take me out fishing all of the time with him. We would leave the house early in the morning and wouldn’t return until dusk, my mother used to worry about us something terrible!

Although I don’t get out often now to go fishing, my brother is still heavily invested in the sport and fishing hobby. Just yesterday he introduced me to an online web site called the Fishing Social Network. Have any of you ever heard of it?

The social network is a great place for you to show off your fishing talents! The network is free to join and you can post photographs of the fish you caught or videos of what you nabbed while fishing.

I was just over there browsing around and I saw a lot of photos of both adults and children. They all seemed awfully proud of the big (and small) fish that they caught. They even have a free iPhone app that you can download so that you can take their network on-the-go with you. Pretty cool!

Do any of you enjoy fishing? Are you a freshwater or a saltwater fisherman? What is the biggest fish that you caught?

Personally…now that we are adults, we like to hit the ocean (saltwater) and go fishing. About 15 years ago I caught a 7 ft. hammerhead shark and hubby caught a 65 lb. stingray on the same day!

Once my surgery is done and over with…we are going to head down to our vacation home and hopefully get back out onto our boat and do some fishing.

I have only gone fishing a few times and I know I was lawys very proud of what I caught – no matter how small9 Although I did put back the small fish). I think it is great that there is a site and an app for fishing enthusiasts.

  2. we love fishing. Hubby is a huge ice fisherman and he and grown sons love freshwater fishing. My son’s trophy fish are a 50 lb barracuda and and a 70 lb amberjack
