Last week my husband and I went out shopping and were looking for new office furniture for our home office. While browsing around in a few stores we saw an Aeron Chair and really liked how it looked. Have any of you ever seen one? Do any of you own one?
These office chairs are really sleek and modern looking! They are made of super high-quality materials and are built to last a very long time. The chairs are known for the ergonomic features which help to support your back which is especially nice for those of us who sit at our desks for long periods of time. The chairs come with full adjustability, so you can adjust the chair to suit your own height and comfort level.
While at the store, I sat in one of these fabulous office chairs and let me tell you, I didn’t want to get up! I loved how the arm rests totally supported my arms, the back of the chair felt very comfortable up against my lower and upper back, and the seat of the chair was really cushioned nicely. I felt like I was sitting on a luscious cloud!
The chair was semi-weighty, just the way I like them! I don’t like them light-weight because I have had issues with office chairs tipping over…these are built really nice and have a nice weight to them. Another thing I was impressed with was the wheels! That’s right, the wheels! I was able to easily move the chair from one end of the L-shaped desk to the other end. Yay!
Equally impressive was the price tag! I thought a nice high-quality office chair like this one would be expensive…but I was wrong! Totally within our price range!
Once we are done with the home office remodeling project, I am going to invest in a new desk, office chair, file cabinet and a small stereo system. When hubby and I do our business work in our new home office, I want it to look stylish and be super comfortable for us! Heck, I might even put in a small loveseat and television too!
I have never heard of the Aeron chair , but the next time I need a chair for my desk or computer I shall look into it. It is very important to have an ergonomic chair for support.
Available online in ‘True Black’. They ‘advertise’ on our local NPR radio station and that phrase makes me chuckle – do they also have False Black?
Those ergonomic chairs are very comfortable, the ones that I’ve tried at least. I think it’s reasonable to invest in a really good chair that will support and lessen any aches that might come from sitting for long periods of time, especially if you have to sit in one regularly. I also prefer the chairs that can hold ground and not tip over easily. That being said, I also want to make sure that the chair isn’t so heavy that it’s hard to move. There are many that are really nice that I’ve noticed at office supply stores (I’m sure we all know 1-2) that would probably fit the bill. I think your office idea sounds great. With all those additions, it will be a welcoming environment to work in.
