If you have been reading our blog for the past 1 1/2 years, you will already know how much I love the Purex line of laundry products and today, we get to talk about a brand new addition to their liquid laundry detergent line.
The new Purex Natural Elements Tropical Splash Detergent is my ‘new’ favorite laundry detergent from Purex! This new liquid laundry detergent smells like exotic fruits like pineapple and coconut and they are combined with distant flowers to take your nose on a tropical vacation every time you do your laundry!
This detergent delivers the bright, white and clean you expect from Purex, but with naturally sourced ingredients. The natural fragrance extracts make it gentle enough for sensitive skin and the formula is biodegradable too! It can be used in high efficiency washing machines or traditional ones and costs half the price of the leading brand!
It is hypoallergenic, dye-free and can be used by most members in your family. The fresh, nature-inspired scent makes the laundry chore seem much less of a chore! It packs the cleaning power of Purex with DirtLife action so you know your clothes will come out clean and smelling fantastic!
My Thoughts: As I previously stated, I love…love and LOVE the Purex line of laundry products and have been using them for well over 5+ years now. There are a few things about this new one that I just LOVE! #1. The tropical splash scent smells like I am on vacation in the Caribbean and I dig that! #2. I am a big fan of their DirtLife Action line and I always find that it does a fab job at removing dirt, grease, grime, etc. from my hubby’s work uniforms! #3. I love that this detergent can be used in top loading or front loading washing machines since I own both! (yes folks, I do indeed have 2 laundry rooms in my home!).
I decided to immediately put this new laundry detergent to the test and let me tell you, I was impressed just after one load! Our white towels were super white and not dingy at all. The color-load laundry did not fade and our colors were still bright and vivid. I just got a new pair of dark wash denim jeans and I was afraid they would fade but guess what? Those jeans came out of the washer still nice and dark…with no fading at all!
Regarding the scent…it’s my NEW FAVORITE from Purex! Oh my gosh…I love this scent and I would love to see them come out with some household air fresheners in that scent next! Who needs the Caribbean when you got Purex Tropical Splash Detergent? Okay, well, I still need my Caribbean vacation but this is the next best thing! Yay!!!
