The most frustrating thing about foundation is that they disappear after time, soaking right into your skin or from touching your skin. I used to rely on the fact that by quitting time, I had no foundation left of my face. Luckily, I do not have an oily complexion or it would probably be even quicker! So I am always on the lookout for a foundation that can stand up to the heat in California and last more than half of the day. When I heard about PUR Minerals and their 4-in-1 Liquid 14-Hour Wear Foundation, I knew I had to try it.

I have a hard time choosing the right color of foundation, especially online when you cannot really see the true color. Luckily I am a neutral shade and have definite golden undertones, so the color that matched that description best was the one I chose. I could not have chosen better. I think that this is the first foundation I have used in a long time that matched my skin exactly. Usually they are a tad too light or too dark, but workable. The PUR minerals shade was just right. Huge Plus!
I have my beauty routine set and that includes several skin care treatments and I finish with a moisturizer before I use my foundation. Usually when I apply the foundation there tends to be a bit of a gritty feel to the liquid. Not so with this product, what so ever. I was a bit surprised at that. I think I have just gotten used to it and expected it. This foundation went on like a dream and the coverage was excellent. I love that this is a medium coverage product but the feeling on your skin is very light. It does not feel like you are wearing a mask or that is is heavy or cloying at all. Another big plus! Plus I love how soft it feels on my skin. This is super refined and feels lovely!
As far as the long lasting wearability… I cannot test it in the heat as it is not hot here yet, but I have worn the 4-in-1 Liquid 14-Hour Wear Foundation several days for more than 12 hours and it looked pretty good by the end of the day. The coverage was a bit lessened than when first applied, but it was definitely still working and doing a good job smoothing and blending it all. I did find that I see the best results when I wear a primer with it. Then my freckles and rosy cheeks are covered and blend in nicely. It definitely covered longer than any other liquid foundation I have used in a mineral line.
Overall, I am very pleased with the results I saw with this Foundation. I have several on my counter that I use depending on what I am doing and where I am going. They vary in coverage and I keep reaching for the PUR minerals bottle over and over. I think that means it is a keeper! I am thrilled with the results and will definitely keep this in my beauty routine.
