Lip Bliss Lip Gloss from What’s Your Virtue

Lip Bliss from What’s Your Virtue is a line of gluten- and paraben-free lip gloss with positive messages and shades for all skin tones.  They nurture your lips and the color lasts for hours.

I have the driest lips on the planet.  Seriously.  And lip color fades fairly quickly when I don’t layer.  You know the drill – liner, lip color, and a little translucent powder to help set it.  Remember those all day long-lasting lipsticks?  I get 4-5 hours tops before they fade out. I’ll admit I’m hard on lip color.  I drink water pretty much all day and usually leave the lipstick ring on a coffee cup.  Switching to gloss was a good move because I have to reapply fairly often and gloss has a lighter texture and is less drying than most lipstick.  The offer of a moisturizing gloss caught my attention and gave me the opportunity to try a new brand.  It’s Spring.  It’s time for new beginnings and a new palette.

Lip Bliss from What’s your Virtue was created by three friends who wanted to create a lip gloss with a positive and not sexual message.  Lip Bliss is not tested on animals, gluten-free, and paraben-free goodness in a tube.  The selection of shades is named for virtues and work for women of all ages and skin tones. I received Wisdom, a coppery-winey shade, and devotion, a clear, pinkish gloss. Each went on smoothly and was heavier than expected at first. But this gloss has saying power!  Neither coffee nor repeated sips from a water bottle moved it.  As mentioned earlier, 4-5 hours max is what I expect from a long-lasting lipstick.  Getting three hours from one application of Lip Bliss was a pleasant surprise. And it is nurturing!  The blend of castor, cranberry, safflower seed, and peppermint oils work quite well.  In addition, Lip Bliss has Vitamin E, green tea extract, and antioxidants to boost the beneficial properties of this lip color.

Want to pick up one or more of your own?  Lip Bliss is sold online, in shops, and salons.  Spring forward and snag a shade or two to go with your warmer weather wardrobe.  Even if that warmer weather is weeks away.   Curiosity and Generosity need to come home to mama.  Teen girl is eyeing Simplicity and Kindness.

These all look good and I love their names. It is great that they have staying power and neither dry out nor are sticky. I am also glad that they are not tested on animals.

This is a great post for me because I am so tired of wearing lipstick that only lasts a couple of hours at the most. The lip prints on my glasses and cups has become a joke here at home. But I also have very dry lips and I actually would love to try Lip Bliss for it’s moisturizing effect. Thanks for the review.

Adorable! And, of course, that they are not tested on animals is a “must” for me. And, I love lip stains, but since youve said that you have dry lips I trust they won’t dry out my lips like others do….so…I’ll give them a try! Thanks!

Cute names! I am interested in a moisturizing gloss. Lipsticks are often too drying and glosses can be sticky and slide all over. I want it all!:). Color, moisture, and shine. Looks like they have a few colors for all skin tones and interests.
