Incorporating Low Carb Foods Into My Daily Diet

March 25, 2013 by Shelly

Over the winter time, I gained about 15 lbs. that I didn’t want to gain by lazing around the house and eating all kinds of high-calorie goodies. Now that Spring is here and the swimsuit season is just around the corner, I am looking for low carb foods to incorporate into my daily diet.

I am determined to drop at least 15 lbs., preferably 20 lbs. before Memorial Day and one of the things I learned is that I need to ditch the high carb foods. On my hunt for low carb foods today, I found several types of foods that I didn’t even know about.

Here is a partial list of the low carb foods I am thinking about trying.

* Stevia Sweetener
* Walden Farms Jam (love fruit jams)
* Zevia 0 Calorie Sodas
* Jennies Vanilla Macaroons
* Yes to Cookies (sugar-free cookies)
* Flatout Italian Herb Bread
* La Nouba Vanilla Waffles
* Big Train Buttermilk Pancake Mix
* Pacific Foods Vegetable Broth
* Wild Garden Hummus Dip
* Carba-Nada Fettuccine Noodles
* Sea Tangle Kelp Noodles
* GG Crispbread
* Skinny Crisps
* Thinables Nacho Flavored Crackers
* Hershey’s Sugar-Free Peanut Butter Cups
* and a few other things!

My question for all of you today is this…are any of you on a low-carb diet? If so, what kinds of foods are you eating? Have any of you tried any of the above foods and if so, what did you think of them?

I would love to hear your thoughts, ideas and opinions! Please leave your comments below!

    I am actually doing very low carbs myself. mainly no carb unless it is a complex carb. I like the list but I am not much of a snacker so hopefully it will not be too horrible!
