For the past 12 years my brother-in-law and his wife having been trying to conceive a child. They have spent thousands of dollars on fertility treatments and none of them have been successful.
Yesterday we attended my mother-in-law’s 85th birthday party and Steve & Mary were telling us all that they are ready to try adoption and are looking to hire an adoption lawyer. After hearing their news, we were all really excited for them.
With that said, they are really nervous about getting an adoption lawyer because they have never dealt with anything like this. They were asking us for advice, but we had no advice to give them.
I did tell them both that they should get online and look for some information about adoption, because the web is loaded with adoptive parent resources. Just in a 10 minute search today, I found over 20 respectable sites that would be great for them to check out.
I would love to know if any of our readers ever used an adoption attorney and if so, do you have any tips or advice that I can pass onto them? We would love to hear it, so please leave your tips and comments below. Thanks!
