Green Virgin Products Moringa Tea is a nutritional powerhouse. Hot or cold, this tea provides Vitamins A and C, calcium, potassium, fiber, amino acids, iron, and zinc. The used bags can also be used directly on cuts, burns, and rashes to help speed the healing process.
I am a tea drinker. Hot, cold, sweetened or not, tea is always on my menu. While I love my coffee, it stopped being my friend a long time ago. Coffee and digestive issues do not go hand in hand. In place of that cup of joe, I tuned to tea and I am happy. I keep my morning and post-dinner cuppa without hurting my tummy or affecting my ability to sleep. Black and herbal teas have equal love in my house. Well, maybe the herbals have a little more love. But that’s our secret.
When Green Virgin Products offered me a bag of Moringa Tea, I jumped at it. Have you tried or heard of it? Moringa is a caffeine-free superfood powerhouse. It is packed with vitamins and minerals we all need and said to promote healing. It is said to flush toxins and reduce inflammation in the body. My daily superfood shake lists Moringa in the added ingredients, but this tea was the first time I tried it on its own. I started with a hot cup of tea. Green Virgin says the tea should not be heated more than 140 degrees Farenheit and consumed within 24 hours of brewing to keep the nutritional compounds intact. Not a problem. At first sip I thought I was interesting. It is similar to green tea with a slight aftertaste I cannot place.
A squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a little agave nectar helped with the taste. It wasn’t bad with a little almond milk, either. A few hours after my second cup, I felt the same energy I usually had after downing my second cup of joe. No morning fog at all. It worked well as the afternoon coffee break beverage, too. I cannot be sure if the energy boost was psychological or physical, but the influx of Vitamins A and C, Calcium, Potassium, fiber, amino acids, iron, and zinc pack a nutritional punch.
Moringa can also be used directly on the skin. I did not know that before. I’ve used nettle tea as a post-wash hair and scalp rinse before, so I decided to use a Green Virgin’s Moringa Tea the same way. I poured cold tea into my spray bottle and went at it. My scalp felt soothed and calmed. There was no irritation after using the rinse and it left my hair soft. I poured cool Moringa tea on a rash and it instantly eased the itching. The rash was gone within two days, which was shocking considering how bad it was. Consider me convinced.

I too am a tea drinker. i never heard of Green Vigin teas before your review. I like both that Moringa is caffeine free and full of vitamins and supplements. I also am intrigued by the idea of using it on my scalp.
I’ve haven’t seen a tea that has all those minerals and vitamins! That’s great! I would love to try Moringa because I’m in dire need of some kind of energy boost right around mid-morning and this tea would be a great way to get it instead of downing caffeinated coffee or soda. I love that it includes iron in it!
As for the other benefits, I’m impressed! It seems like we should all drink Moringa tea! I will definitely have to look for it the next time I’m out shopping!
Thanks for the review!
Never heard of this before but I am going to look for it in my local natural food store….thanks!
