A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a really cool online store called ZestAvenue and instantly fell in love! When you shop at this wonderful store you will find candles, home decor, indoor furniture, outdoor furniture, seasonal decor, lighting, water fountains, pet products and so much more!
The company sent me a box of their 3″ Metallic Silver Floating Candles to review for all of you. These candles come packaged 12 in a box and I really appreciate that there are divided sections within the box to keep the candles protected and separated from one another. This is really important because if candles are not shipped properly, they can become damaged. Love how they are packaged!
Next, I love the 3″ diameter size…they are the perfect size to float around in a swimming pool, pond, lake, large water fountain, etc. The silver metallic finish on these round candles is beautiful…very shiny! They are shaped like spaceships (saucers) which I think gives them an elegant appearance.
Our daughter is getting married outdoors later this Fall and the place that she is getting married at has a small lake. We are going to section off a section of the lake and place these candles on the lake at dusk when they say their wedding vows. Perfect candles for that occasion and guess what? Each candle will burn for 5-6 hours straight!
For the review, I filled up a large metal 20 gallon outdoor flower planting bucket with water and placed one of the lit candles inside it. I wanted to see how they burned and how well they floated. Let me tell you, they are perfect! The single candle that I used floated around and while it was burning, it burnt down evenly. There was no smoke or soot spitting off of the candle at all. All of this speaks to the high quality of these candles!
I am saving the other 11 floating candles for her wedding day. I know they are going to look lovely all lit up when they go to say their wedding vows. Furthermore, they got some of the best prices I have seen on floating candles! You can pick up a box of 12 for only $14.99…wow!
