emergenC Lavender Face Toner For Beautiful Skin

Over the last few years, my skin has changed and as much as I hate to admit it, I couldn’t keep the same routine I had in my 30s now that I’m in my 40s (ugh). I’ve been on a quest to find the right product or products and have adjusted and switched my daily skincare routine more than a few times. I’ve recently found a combination that is working well for my skin. A few weeks ago, I was introduced to emerginC lavender toner. It’s a great product and I’m truly enjoying the way it feels, smells and most importantly to me, it’s gentle on my sensitive skin.

While I only reviewed the toner, emerginC offers a full line of active, result-oriented products that contain pure, potent botanicals and fruit acids as well as advanced medical and cosmeceutical-grade ingredients from all over the world. The emerginC products are paraben-free, as well as free of artificial colors and fragrances. In addition, emerginC does not test on animals or use animal ingredients, which is a must when I am choosing any type of beauty product. Check out the full line of products that emerginC has to offer, which includes products for the face, eyes and body.

I’ve been using the emerginC lavender toner for a few weeks and I’ve made it part of both my morning and evening routine. The lavender toner is a very gentle product and it feels so refreshing, and never burns or stings, which is the case with many toners I’ve used. This particular toner is especially suited for those of us with sensitive skin and as I mentioned earlier, I have sensitive skin, so I’m careful about what I use on my face.

The lavender scent of the product is calming and soothing and I love the smell, especially right before bed. It reminds me of the smell in the air at a high-end spa. Lavender is one of the active ingredients in this toner, but it also contains chamomile, balm mint, cornflower, magnolia and green tea just to name a few. What a wonderful combination of ingredients, just saying them makes me feel more relaxed! If lavender is not your thing, there are two other toners available in pomegranate and peach.

Since using this product, I’ve noticed that I’ve had less breakouts and my skin has been fairly normal—not too try or too oily. My skin has a personality disorder of sorts and is always veering towards one or the other and this product seems to have really balanced things out for me, which is probably the result of the toner adjusting my pH levels.

The successful combination for me has been my regular gentle cleaner (a fairly inexpensive drugstore brand), the emerginC toner and then I use a light moisturizer in the morning and heavier night cream in the evening. This is an affordable product (under $30) and comes in a fairly large size, which should last several months. It seems we’re all looking for ways to look good, feel good and do so without spending a ton of money.

That time that we all spend trying to look our best can definitely pay off. I’m happy to say I still do get carded occasionally, which makes taking care of my skin the way I do totally worth it! Maybe the waiters are looking for a bigger tip or the checkout girl is just trying to make my day. Whatever the reason, I’ll take the compliment!

We don’t have to spend money like the rich and famous do to take care of our skin. My advice is to stay out of the sun, use sunscreen and maintain a regular skincare routine. Sometimes it can be easy to fall asleep in your make-up or skip a step here and there, but when it comes down to it, I don’t want to look like someone’s leather attaché when I’m older, so I take the time to figure out how to keep my skin looking its best for as long as possible.

Overall, the emerginC toner is a top-notch beauty essential in my book. I’ve really enjoyed it and think that it could easily fit into just about anyone’s daily routine.

I seem to have had a few more breakouts on my skin and this lavender toner might be the answer. I am glad that it is all-natural and not tested on animals
