Brew the Perfect Cup with Landmark Coffee

March 4, 2013 by Jenelle

Landmark Coffee

How many of you are coffee drinkers? If you said “me”, are you also a coffee snob? Are you picky about your coffees? If so, you need to check out all of the fabulous coffees by Landmark Coffee.

This family-run company has been purveyors of fine quality gourmet coffees for over 50 years. They know their coffees! Each order is small-batch roasted and delivered within hours of roasting. Once your coffee has been roasted, it’s packaged in a really neat resealable bag to help preserve freshness once it arrives to you.

Landmark CoffeeThe company sent me two very large 2lb. bags of freshly roasted coffee beans to review for all of you. We received a bag of the Vienna Roast Coffee Beans and a bag of the French Roast Coffee Beans. As soon as my package arrived, I could smell the freshly roasted coffee beans oozing out of the bags. Oh my gosh, they smelled so good!

The Vienna Roast Coffee has a full, rich, sweet flavor with a beautiful bouquet. A blend of high grade Colombian and Mexican coffees. It is a light dark roast, for those who want a delicious coffee that appeals to all tastes. The French Roast Coffee is a strong dark coffee that has a full body and Smokey flavor. This is one of their most popular coffees.

For the first 2 days of our review, we sampled the Vienna Roast Coffee and let me tell you…it was definitely FRESH! What I love about this coffee is that it reminds me of a medium-bodied coffee, with a hint of sweetness to it. There is nothing bitter about it and it’s a really smooth coffee to drink.

Brew the Perfect Cup with Landmark CoffeeFor the next 3 days of our review, the family sampled the French Roast Coffee which is a stronger coffee than the Vienna Roast. It definitely has a “bolder” flavor to it with a hint of smokey flavor. I would consider this one to be a full-bodied coffee, not bitter at all and very smooth. When I drink this one, I tend to add more than my normal amount of sweetener to it…as I like a little sweetness to my coffee.

My dad came over yesterday and I gave him a big mug of the French Roast Coffee as he likes a very strong & bold coffee. He really loved this one and it was right up his alley. Needless to say, when he left, he took the bag with him!

Out of the 2 coffees we sampled, the Vienna Roast was my absolutely favorite. Matter of fact, it is 100% perfect for me and my taste buds! The French Roast Coffee was good too, but a little too strong for me. However, my dad is really enjoying it!

I am a super sucker for coffee.. I can’t stop, won’t stop… I look forward to it in the morning! Sometimes, as I go to sleep, I think- oh how nice, when I wake up, I get to have my mocha latte.. LOL which is just my plain coffee with ovaltine and real cream in it each morning! I would choose their Morningstar Blend
