I am in the mood for cookies so I was looking through an old recipe book from my mom for something new and I found this delicious looking recipe that is so easy! I am always down for easy recipes. Plus cookies are great to make with the kids or grandkids when you need so redirection and quality time with them in the kitchen! This is not the actual cookie picture since I haven’t made them yet, but it sure looks like it would be! Give this recipe a try this week.

Chocolate Crumble Cookies Recipe
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 squares melted baker’s chocolate
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup confectioner’s powdered sugar
In a large mixing bowl combine together the vegetable oil, melted chocolate and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until well blended. Add in one egg at a time until all four eggs have been added, mix well. Add in the vanilla extract, salt, all-purpose flour and baking powder.
Cover bowl and place into the refrigerator for 4 hours to chill. Remove bowl from refrigerator and shape dough into 1 1/2″ diameter bowls. Roll each ball into confectioner’s sugar and place onto a greased cookie sheet 2″ apart. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until done. This recipe makes 45-50 cookies.

These look delicious. I’d add a teaspoon of instant coffee to bring out the chocolate taste more.
these look really good and seems very easy to make……thanks for sharing
Oh my these look delicious! I may have to be a bad girl and make them 🙂
I love easy recipes, too, even better when recipes use common ingredients. Cookies are always great! My daughter and I love hem. The hardest part…baking hem before we devour the dough. :). Hope you enjoy yours!
