My family ages well. Our skin does, anyway. I’m coming up on 44 and started noticing a few more lines around my mouth and eyes. I don’t think I like it much. I mean, I have no issue with getting older; I just don’t want to look old. You know what I mean, right? My skin care routine has changed somewhat over the years, but the main functions remain the same. Cleanse, tone, moisturize, and occasionally mask.
As I become greener, my skincare products do, too. In Spring, my products change, too. The moisturizer is lighter and cleanser changes to a lighter formula as well. When the fine folks at Celadon Road offered a selection from their skin care line, I accepted. I’m glad I did.
Celadon Road is a direct sales company with a heart. The company signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics, is a member of the Organic Trade Association, green, socially responsible, and does not test on animals. All of the company’s products are organic add eco-friendly. I like that. I also like that the company offers a flexible opportunity for anyone to work for themselves. Enough fangirling, on to the review.
Celadon Road suggests simple guidelines for skincare – exfoliate three times a week, cleanse, tone, and repair twice a day, replenish once a week, and moisturize twice a day. I received an Age Defying Cream Cleanser, Pumpkin Masque, Exfoliating Grapefruit Scrub, and Pink Grapefruit and Vitamin C Serum. I planned a spa day and went for it. First up was the cleanser. After the wash, my skin was soft and I wasn’t sure I needed moisturizer. After using the Vitamin C Serum, my skin looked like I’d just put on foundation. I went with naked skin the next day (but did my eyes and lips) and it looked like I had full face on. I like that! True test came in the afternoon when I usually have to blot or touch up and there was no need. No oily nose at 3 pm. Impressive.
I saved the Pumpkin Masque and Exfoliating Grapefruit Scrub for spa day. I have a love/hate for masques and rarely use them. On spa day I pull out the stops – herbal tea, fruit salad, soft music, and all. The masque falls under Celadon Road’s refresh category, and I must admit my skin felt refreshed. Maybe it was the entire thing, maybe it was the masque. Either way, a weekly (or biweekly) masque is now part of my routine. The scrub was just as refreshing. It was gentle, yet effective on my face, elbows, and knees.
Overall, I give this like of skin care products an A. I loved them. I don’t think I’ll have to change with the season with these, either. They may be the optimal formulas for my combination skin. Time will tell, but I’m planning to stick with these for a while.
Celadon Road’s product line includes pretty much everything one needs to go from traditional to eco-friendly home. There are grooming products (for men, women, babies, and children), jewelry, candles, boxes and bags for meals on the go, and cleaning supplies and accessories. The product line includes grooming products, beds, and goodies for the family dog. The full product catalog is available online, but the products can only be purchased directly from a Celadon Road consultant or at a Celadon Road party. I’ll be looking for a rep soon to pick up a few more goodies.

It is great that this is a product which you can use the entire year. The Vitmain C Serum is the one I’d probably like the most.
I’ll have to see if they have any Reps around Jersey .I love that they are Organic and echo friendly. I’d like to try the Vitamin C Serum you mentioned. I have such dry skin i winter it’s horrible. I’m always looking for better products for my skin. Thanks for your review.
