Today I would like to introduce you to the foodie company called Vermont Smoke and Cure based out of Hinesburg, Vermont. This company sells delicious gourmet food products like Beef & Pork Snack Sticks, Bacon, Hams, Summer Sausages, Smoked Pepperoni and more!
The company has been in business for over 50 years and make their own products in their smokehouse in northern Vermont. If you are looking for delicious meat products, Vermont Smoke and Cure is your go-to store!
The company sent us several of their “RealSticks” to review for all of you. The RealSticks are a gluten free snack containing 50% less fat and 40% less salt than the leading snack sticks, and at least 80% less sugars than the leading sports bars. RealSticks are low (0-2) carb, dairy free, no MSG, and no artificial anything. No preservatives. Just 2 WW points in each 1-oz stick, so they are great for those who are watching their weight.
We received several of the RealSticks in each of these 3 flavors: BBQ RealSticks, Chipotle RealSticks and Cracked Pepper RealSticks. Each stick is 1 oz. in size.
The BBQ RealSticks are made from real beef and give you the heat from real peppers and the sweetness from honey. Out of all 3 flavors, this one was my favorite! The beef stick had the perfect mild spiciness that I prefer and that barbecue & honey flavoring was out of this world…delicious!
The Chipotle RealSticks are made out of a combination of real beef and real pork! They combine brown chipotle with cumin, black pepper, garlic and other spices to deliver layers of flavor and a medium kick of spicy heat. Out of the three flavors we tried, this one was my daughter’s and my brothers favorite flavor! Yes, we do share here at our house!
The Cracked Pepper RealSticks are made out of a combination of real beef and real pork! These snack sticks are not overly peppered but do have a nice black pepper kick to them and were my husband’s favorite! Matter of fact, he snagged all of these for himself and he wouldn’t share with me! Boo!
All of the RealSticks come individually packaged, so you can toss a few in your purse, diaper bag, backpack, gym bag, desk drawer at work, school locker, etc. They are totally portable and make a great fulfilling snack! They all tasted fresh and delicious!
