Looking for Effective Back Pain Solutions

Effective Back Pain Solutions

How many of you suffer with chronic back pain and are looking for some back pain solutions? For me personally, I have been suffering with lower back pain for the past 5 years and I have tried many things. Some of them have worked and some have not.

Today, I would like to tell you all about some of the things I have tried and I would love to get your feedback and suggestions from all of you back pain sufferers too!

When my back pain first started, I tried applying those fancy dancy heat wraps that you can buy at any drug store. For me, they personally did not work because I had an allergic reaction to the adhesive that is used on the sticky pad to adhere them to your lower back.

After that, I tried using an moist heating pad and to this day, I use a heating pad almost daily. I tried dry heat but found that it irritated my skin, so I only use a moist heating pad when I apply heat to my lower back.

Last year my husband went out and purchased us an inversion table that cost us a few hundred dollars. I tried that but found that it set off my migraine headaches. With that said, my hubby has been using it to help relieve his back pain for the past 6 months and is having great results with that.

A few weeks ago I went out and purchased a tempur pedic mattress and wow…I have to admit, that has made a big difference in my back pain and in the quality of my sleep. While it sure doesn’t cure lower back pain, it sure does help to relieve it and make you more comfortable while you snooze.

Then last week it occurred to me that perhaps some of my back pain was coming from my office chair, so I went out during the weekend and got a new orthopedic desk chair and I have to say, that is also helping with my back pain too!

So, today…I thought I would share with all of you what has helped and hasn’t helped with the back pain that I currently suffer from. I would love to hear from all of you who have this type of pain and I would love to know what you do to help relieve it?

I have used both dry and moist heat, pain relief creams, exercise,, better charis and positions in chairs and beds and they have all helped. YOur posture can also make a difference – Remember when your mom or grandmother told you to sit straight – They were right!
