Good morning everyone! Happy Hump Day Wednesday! Oh my gosh, I am in a terrible mood this morning! For 2 weeks now I have been fighting to get a medical release for an upcoming surgery that I was supposed to have this week (now pushed to next week) and had to get nasty about getting that release sent over to my surgeon’s office! I don’t know why doctor’s don’t watch their office staff more closely!
My doctor signed off on the release and then twice the office staff lost the release before it was faxed over to the surgeon! Yesterday I called and raised “hum” with the staff about this and they told me they would fax it by 3pm yesterday. I got a call this morning from surgeon’s office telling me they still haven’t gotten it!
WTH???? So, I call back my primary doc’s office and reamed new butt’s into that office staff. They said and I will quote them, “Shelly, it’s laying here on our desk, we will get to it”. Ummm, no! We have been wating for you to “get to it” for 2 weeks now! I want that dang medical release FAXED to my surgeon within the hour or you will see my face in the waiting room later this afternoon. So now, I am sitting and waiting until lunchtime and I swear, if my oral surgeon doesn’t have it by then…they will indeed see my FACE! ugh. Why does it have to be a ROYAL PAIN in the BUTT to deal with doctors!!!!
