How many of you watch the Academy Awards? Personally, hubby and I love to watch them! I like to watch them for the fashion and hubby likes to watch them to see who wins the awards. Regardless of why you watch the Academy Awards, it does give us all a great reason to party!
The great folks over at Wholly Guacamole and Daily’s Cocktails sent me a “Red Carpet Ready Party Kit” so that I could host my own movie theme party! My kit included Wholly Guacamole and Wholly Salsa products, a $20 Walmart gift card (to pick up pouches of Daily’s Cocktail”, 2 Daily’s cocktail glasses and a red faux red carpet. I thought it was pretty cool!
Last Friday I invited over 4 friends of ours, so that we could all sit down and watch a movie together. The movie we selected was the new Total Recall movie. For our party we served a variety of Wholly Guacamole products, Wholly Salsa products, tortilla chips, nachos with cheese, guacamole deviled eggs, cheese and crackers, and several of the Daily’s Cocktails.
When we went to Walmart, we had picked up 4 of the Daily’s Cocktails Frozen Original Strawberry Daiquiri Pouches and 2 of the Daily’s Cocktails Frozen Margarita Pouches. What I really love about these pouches is that the alcohol is already in the pouch, I don’t have to mix up any tasty concoctions! You simply open them up and squeeze the contents into your beverage glasses. No fuss, no mess and nothing to screw up! Gotta love that!
We have always been big fans of the Eat Wholly products (guacamoles and salsas) and now we finally got a chance to try out the Daily’s Cocktails. Yummy!!! Everyone at our little movie viewing & cocktail party had a great time and while our movie choice for the night was good, the food and beverages was even better!
