Wedding Favors for my Daughter’s Upcoming Wedding

February 22, 2013 by Shelly

Princess Slipper Wedding Table Favors

Last Spring my daughter got engaged and since that time, we have been super busy preparing for her upcoming wedding. The nuptials will be occurring later this Fall and time is flying by.

For the past two weeks, we have been looking at hundreds of different wedding favors and trying to decide on what to get. Seriously, we have probably spent over 40 hours now, looking at favors and are still not sure which ones we will be purchasing.

With that said, we do have it narrowed down to a few specific choices now and we wanted to get your opinion.

* Heart 2 Heart Bottle Stoppers
* Personalized Votive Candles
* Heart Rose Soap Petals
* Bamboo Beverage Coasters
* Glass Cinderella Slippers (super cute)
* Glass Heart Photo Frame Coasters
* Mini Heart Shaped Salt & Pepper Shakers

Photo Frame Wedding Table Favors

My daughter chose the colors of lavender and sage green as her wedding colors and her dress is done in a Cinderella Princess style. Out of the party favors listed above, we are really leaning towards the Glass Cinderella Slippers and the Glass Heart Photo Frame Coasters.

What do you think? Good choices or not? We will need to purchase 250 of each party favor that we select, so I need to get cracking on placing my order. Both of the ones we are highly considering are shown here in our post.

    Both of the ones shown are very cute and help guest remember the wedding – especially if other thins are in a Cinderella style

    Thanks ladies for your comments and suggestions. I think we will go with both! Jen’s wedding dress is in a Cinderella style and we do have some other “Princess” decorations we will be using at the reception. Her wedding cake is 3-levels and at the top is a carriage with horses & a groom lifting a bride out of the carriage. It’s a beautiful cake topper if I must say so myself!

    I will be getting LOTS of pictures once the big day happens!

    I actually had to help out at a family wedding and they chose similar photo frame coasters as party favors as well! They are very functional and I personally like the look of the frosted glass! I think all those ideas are very fun and classy (the glass slippers I would love due to the whimsy and cuteness of them)!

    I like the photo frame too. Functional but sweet

    I like the idea of the photo frame as it is a great gift to take home.

    I agree with your choices. I really like the photo frames because you can put a photo of the couple in it…you could use them as place cards and have a photo of the person to sit at which table…or you could just leave them without a photo but have the couple’s name in the heart. No matter how you give them they showcase the idea of love and unity while still being useful in many ways to the person receiving them.

    If your daughter is doing other things in a Cinderella type theme, the glass slippers would be really cute though.
