Back in early January of this year we finally moved into our new home and are pretty excited about it! Now that we are all moved in, it’s time to decorate our home in some new and fun accessories.
I was looking around online for some new throw pillows and stumbled upon Pillow Decor. This store has all kinds of throw pillows ranging from country, modern, art deco, shabby chic, florals, pillows for kids…well, they have them all, indoor and outdoor pillows!
I wanted some new decorative throw pillows for our family room sofa and some new ones for our master bedroom. While browsing their web site, I fell in love with the Sea Shells 22″ by 22″ Throw Pillow. It’s gorgeous looking online, but let me tell you…it’s even prettier in person!
The pillow has a gorgeous seashore design featuring sea horses, tiger fish, star fish and other beautiful sea shells. The print is done on a soft-white cotton blend fabric and features knife-edge seams. It is completely machine-washable and when you need to wash the cover, just unzip it (hidden zipper) and remove the pillow form. Toss it into the washer and line dry or dry on low heat.
One of the things I love about this throw pillow is it’s massive size! It measures 22″ by 22″ in size and most toss pillows are much smaller in size. In addition, I love the high-quality fabric that they use which will definitely hold up to years of use. The seashore print is stunning, absolutely stunning!
Now to decide on where to put it! I like it on our tan colored micro-suede sofa, but I also like it on our master bed! Decisions, Decisions, Decisions! It’s quite the show piece, but completely functional too! I could NOT be happier with my new throw pillow!
What is really nice about shopping at Pillow Decor is that you can purchase just the pillow covers if you just need those and/or you can decide if you want a polyfil insert or a feather insert. For my pillow, I choose the polyfill insert. They also have a nice section on their web site where you can get tips on how to decorate your home with accent pillows…way cool!
