Living on the west coast, avocados are a staple in our home. Not only are they a tasty green fruit, they can be used in so many ways.  We always have a fresh avocado in the house and they end up in so many different dishes here.  My hubby loves them sliced on toast in the morning with a sprinkling of season salt.  We enjoy them cubed right into a fresh salad; along side and in scrambled eggs and, of course, in dips and salsas.  Luckily, we are able to get fresh avocado all the time thanks to Avocados from Mexico

I had not been living in California very long and a friend came over to a party and made guacamole.  I was intrigued and from the first taste, I was hooked. Now avocados are a part of our meals all of the time.  Now they are getting more and more popular and mainstream all over the US.
