NEXXUS Youth Renewal Rejuvenating Shampoo and Conditioner

I have always been a big fan of the NEXXUS line of professional hair care products and when I was given the opportunity to try out the new Youth Renewal line, I jumped at the chance.

The Youth Renewal line of hair care products by NEXXUS were developed to combat the 8 signs of aging hair. Those 8 signs of aging hair include: dryness, brittleness, unruliness, loss of color vibrancy, volume loss, breakage, less shine and roughness. As a woman who is now 45 years old, I can certainly tell you that my hair exhibits all of those aging signs.

For my review, NEXXUS sent me 3 full size products to try out for all of you. I received the: Youth Renewal Rejuvenating Shampoo, Youth Renewal Rejuvenating Conditioner and the Youth Renewal Plump & Lift Blow Dry Spray.

Regarding the shampoo, I really love the light sweet scent of this shampoo and it lathers up really nicely. I found that a little bit goes a long way. The conditioner smells just like the shampoo and again, you only need a little bit. The conditioner is really nice and doesn’t leave your hair greasy or oily. It rinses out of your hair quickly and easily. Both of these products smell really nice!

You apply the Youth Renewal Plump & Lift Blow Dry Spray to your hair right after towel drying it. You want to apply it all over the hair and then comb it through. You then style your hair as normal and in my case, that would be with the blow dryer. Since I have very short hair, it only takes me around 4 or 5 minutes to completely dry my hair. I found that this spray did add some volume to my hair and I was really impressed that it didn’t weigh my hair down.

Overall, I am really pleased with this line of hair care products from NEXXUS and I am going to continue using them until they are gone. Like I said, I really LOVE that sweet fresh scent of the shampoo and conditioner which makes washing my hair seem less of a chore! LOL
