My Top 5 Best Skin Care Tips

My Top 5 Best Skin Care TipsFor the past 15 years, many people have complimented me on my glowing skin and many have told me that I look at least 10 years younger than my actual age. All of that beautiful skin doesn’t come for free and it’s a lot of hard work to maintain.

Today, I thought I would share with all of you, my top 5 best skin care tips.

1. I have used oodles upon oodles of skin care products over the past 45 years and my favorite ones are organic skin care products! I am not too particular on the brands that I use, but I do prefer them to be organic or at the very least, natural.

2. Every time I go outside for longer than 30 minutes at a time, I always apply a sunscreen to my face. When it comes to sunscreens, I always purchase ones that are particularly made for delicate facial skin. I never put a harsh “made for the body” sunscreen onto my face.

3. Follow a skin care routine! Every morning I wash my face and then follow it up with a moisturizer. When evening rolls around, I cleanse my face again and use an anti-aging serum after cleansing. If my skin is particular dry (seasonal for me), then I follow up with another dose of a moisturizer. Keeping your skin moisturized at all times, can take years off your appearance!

4. Eat a healthy diet! That old saying that “beautiful comes from within” is absolutely true! Your skin needs the proper nutrients too, so eat a healthy diet consisting of a lot of fruits and vegetables. If you are not big on eating a healthy diet, you can purchase nutritional supplements at your local health store.

5. Never…Ever…go to bed with your makeup on! Matter of fact, when possible, you should use natural and organic cosmetics! A lot of your retail cosmetics are loaded with harsh chemicals and junk that can clog your pores and/or age your skin. If you love mineral makeup, that is definitely the way to go.

Well, there you have it! My top 5 personal tips on how to have beautiful skin!

I agree conpletely with your tips. I am not as good as you on doing all of these, but I do try to cleanse, moisturize , apply sunscreen and aat night antiaging serum.

  2. I definitely think my diet and sun light exposure are two keys to the way my skin is. I get compliments these days but I know it’s because I eat a balanced diet, avoid many processed foods, drink enough water and avoid the sun!
But I think a good habit that I need to develop is putting on sunscreen when I know I’m going to be out in the sun for long periods of time, or even have some on daily if I’m going outside. I don’t wear too much makeup so when I do I always wash it off before I go to bed. I think I will try to look for organic and natural products for my future makeup and skin care regimen. Thank you for this list of things to do from someone who knows and has been there!

I try to be good, but I am bad about taking off my make up. Even harder, removing it with a gentle eye make up remover and not just a wash cloth. I know that it is important to let your skin breathe. I try to go as often as I can without make up or wear less sometimes. Plus, I drink lots of water. Hydration for body and skin. Also, sunscreen is a big key. Even when just driving, you should always have sunscreen on.

Congratulations to you on beautiful skin and a great routine! Thanks for the tip on organic products.
