Making Money Off My Husband’s Unwanted Electronics

Laptop Computer

A few days ago I was unpacking one of our moving boxes and came across a box labeled “Hubby’s Electronics” and I was pretty curious at what was inside. I peeled off the packing tape and found several items in the box, that I didn’t even know that he had.

Inside this one huge moving box I found the following electronic items: 4 old cell phones, 2 old dvd players, an old laptop computer, a netbook computer, 7 electronic games, various DVD’s and CD’s and 3 gaming consoles. I am not sure why my hubby was keeping all of those old electronics, but I decided that it was time for them to go.

We currently live in a neighborhood where we can’t have the traditional yard sale or garage sale, so I needed to look at another option for selling these unwanted electronic items. Then it dawned on me, why not sell them online? I am sure there are buyers out there who would love all of this stuff!

The following day I got online and found a wonderful web site called Music Magpie where you can sell all of your unwanted CDs, DVDs, Games, Electronics, Mobile Devices and other techie products. Yeah, the answer to my prayers since I didn’t want to mess with any of those online auction sites.

Note to Self: I really need to tell my brother about this site, because he has been looking to sell 3ds (Nintendo stuff) and I am positive he can use this website to do just that! His boys have been wanting some new Nintendo Wii items, so once my brother sells the old stuff, perhaps he can buy them the new stuff that they have been asking for. Win-Win!

Making money off your unwanted electronics and tech items is a really easy thing to do if you utilize the power of the world-wide web! I love this idea and it’s great for home owners like us, who can’t do yard sales or just don’t want the yard sale hassle. Head on over to Music Magpie today!

I would love to know how all of you go about getting rid of your unwanted techie stuff? Do you sell it online, give it away, do a yard sale or what?
