How Beautiful TV Stands and Mounts Become Part of Your Home Decor

As a family, we love to watch movies and TV together in the living room. It is a great way to come together after a long week and relax. While we have a decent size television, one thing that bugs me is that my TV stand is not very useful. I mean, its okay to hold the TV and some baskets for the DVDs and Music CD’s, but its not like a piece of furniture that blends in nicely with the rest of the room. In fact, right now the television is the focal point in the room and I am not sure that I like that. I really want to change the look of the room so I have been looking around for some tv stands that have a lift in the cabinet that will hide your tv but raise it up when you push a button.

I found a cool site that has all kinds of stands and mounts for television and my, there are some pretty pieces in there. I really wanted one that looks like a piece of furniture and that would blend in well with my home decor. I found so many styles! There were cabinets that look like sideboards, crafted from gorgeous woods that come with drawers or doors that will hide your equipment. Pieces such as this become part of your decor by hiding the TV and cords so all you see is the lovely wood cabinet. It blends right in with the room and the television would not be the focal point. You could then have a piece of art, the furniture or the view become the focal point depending on how you decorate your home. That is what I like. Then when it is time to watch TV, just the push of a button and it rises from the cabinet, ready for viewing.

I had no idea of the amazing selection of different stands and mounts for your television that were available prior to looking for one for my home. I knew what I wanted but was astounded and what was available. This is nothing like the 5 or so that are shown on display when you buy a television. What I found was a furniture store for stands and cabinets. I could not be more thrilled. I have my eye on the one shown. It would look fabulous in my living room and hubby is going to love it too.
