I am usually not a big breakfast cereal type of person…but for the past 8 weeks, I have been eating cereal pretty often as my choice for breakfast. Due to cholesterol problems, hubby and I have both refound our love for breakfast cereals that we used to have when we were children.
Hubby mainly sticks to the “healthy” cereal choices like Cherries, Honey Nut Cheerios and Special K cereals. My cereal taste buds are more picky than his and I go for cereals like frosted mini wheats (regular, strawberry or blueberry), Golden Grahams, Frosted Flakes and Lucky Charms.
Our question for today is this…
When it comes to breakfast cereals, do you like them or hate them? How often do you eat them? What are some of your favorite breakfast cereals?
I like cereals. My favorite is Honey Nut Cheerios, but I also like chocolate Special K and Chocolate CHeeriosand Chocolate Fiber One. (You can see the theme: anything chocoate!) For anyone on a diet I think the Fiber One line is great.
I like some breakfast cereals, but I often don’t eat them at breakfast. I like to have them for a snack – like Cheerios, mini-wheats, etc. I often have things like hummus & chips for breakfast. I know it sounds wierd, but what I found is cereal and milk often leave me hungry to early, so I look for something that has more fat in it that will keep me satisfied until at least early afternoon.
I like cereal…sort of. I like how they taste, but never chose to eat it in the morning. However, my favorites are usually ones with granola. On cold winter mornings I do like oatmeal…mmmm.
I’m not really a cereal eater but when I do crave it I love Farina and Oatmeal (which I could have forever)in Winter. Others are Puffed Rice, Raisin Brand and Special K-fruit ad yogurt. Congrats to the winner.

I’m an oatmeal fan. More in the winter, but still have it year round.
I find them boring. But if I was really hungry, I would eat cereal.
I love Breakfast Cereal!! I could eat it all day. If we ever run out and even if our pantry and fridge is full, it seems like there is nothing to eat 🙂 My favorite is Special K and Multi Grain Cheerios. Adding fresh fruit makes it even more delicious!
