Brownie Zingers from Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen

February 2, 2013 by Classystaff

I am a sucker for chocolate and one of my favorite things I bake are my Death by Chocolate brownies. I am pretty famous for them around these parts. LOL My child, who does not eat chocolate often, always makes an exception for brownies! I had the opportunity to try someone else s brownies for a change and I was excited! Anytime I can eat chocolate for the sake of a review is a good day!

So I heard about this online site called Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen that makes so many different types of brownies, among other things, and their newest creation called Ruth’s Brownie Zingers. These Zingers are the very best part of Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen’s legendary brownies… the crunchy, cookie like tops. Like all of Ruth’s ultra-premium baked goods, Ruth’s Zingers are handcrafted-to-order using Ruth’s secret blend of three different Valrhona chocolates. Plus, Zingers are available in three varieties: chocolate chunk, walnut and toffee crunch.

Well, I knew I had to try these. I mean, who doesn’t like the top crunchy part of the brownie! I love the hard sides too. The best part, in my book. So I got this cute box loaded with a each of the flavors of this crunchy brownie cookie like creation and from the first taste, I knew we had a winner. The toffee crunch has little bits of toffee baked into the tops – not a lot so they are not hard, but just a bit so you get the flavor of the pieces. The texture of the brownie to like a cookie. Crisp along the edges and a bit soft in the middle. So good!

The Chocolate Chunk has these awesome chunks of chocolate along the top and the same with the Walnut. They have just enough to enhance the brownie but not take over the taste. They all are quite delicious and moist. MMMmmm Just thinking about them is making my mouth water!

If you are looking for a special treat for someone this valentine’s Day, swing by and check out the delicious brownies and other great treats from Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen. I think someone is going to love getting this special tasty treat!

Brownies are the best. I like mine to be chewy, not like a piece of cake. Most important is having a glass of milk with my brownies.

These woudl be a perfect Valentine’s Day gift, or anytime of the year. I love the cruncy part of the brownie. I had never heard of Valrhona chocolate, until reading this review and checking out their web page. Wow a secret blend of three different Valrhona chocolate. Heavenly. Since they all sound fabulous, I would try the Zinger 3 Bag Assorment – Chocolate Chunk, Walnut, Toffee Crunch. Thank you for introducing this company and their cruncy brownies.
