I am the kind of person that carries a variety of products in my purse because you never know when you’ll need them. I have hairspray, a brush, antibacterial lotion, a nail file, dental floss, and yes, even a toothbrush and toothpaste come along with me wherever I go. I used to travel for business at least once a month and carrying the necessities with me are lessons I’ve definitely learned along the way. You never know when a bag is going to show up late or a connection might be missed and if you’ve ever tried to use the “overnight kit” the airlines give you, don’t expect your gums to recover from those toothbrush bristles easily! I don’t travel nearly as much now, but the old habits die hard. I like to be prepared and I’m quite obsessive when it comes to taking care of my teeth, so imagine my excitement when I heard I was going to be reviewing the CosmicSmile Mini Sonic Toothbrush!
It is hard to find the right kind of travel toothbrush. The ones that are really compact aren’t usually as effective and a normal toothbrush is large and especially cumbersome when you carry it in one of those big plastic cases. The CosmicSmile Mini Sonic toothbrush was perfect for me, not only because it is hot pink (love it!), but it’s the ideal size to pop into my makeup bag. It reminds me of a mascara wand and isn’t much bigger than that. It has a really sleek design and the top part of the toothbrush case comes off when you want to use it and protects the toothbrush when you aren’t. It is waterproof so you don’t have to worry about dropping it in the sink or I suppose that means you could even brush your teeth in the shower if you are so inclined.
The CosmicSmile Mini Sonic toothbrush is battery operated –it takes only one AAA battery and has an extra long usage time of up to 120 days of operation. It uses sonic pulse technology with 28,000 sonic pulses per minute to generate powerful, yet gentle cleaning action. The sonic cleaning action removes plaque along the gum line and deep between teeth.
The toothbrush has two brush modes—normal and high—and I was really impressed by just how strong the normal mode was, but the high power mode really took me by surprise. I couldn’t believe how much power was coming from this little compact package. My teeth felt incredibly clean after using it. It is also just the right size for children and I think it would be great for my 8 year old son to pack in his bag when we go on our summer vacation. He’s cavity free (I’m so proud) and I’d like it to stay that way!
This product definitely proves that you don’t have to sacrifice your smile when you are on the go. The CosmicSmile Mini Sonic toothbrush provides big results in a perfect little package and comes in six colors: white, silver, orange, green, blue, and my favorite, pink.
