Before I get started with this review, I first want to share with all of you that I suffer with chronic lower back pain, leg pain, foot pain and right hip pain. I personally know that having comfortable footwear on your feet can help to reduce your pain, it’s a proven fact! Since I suffer greatly with pain and heading towards a hip replacement, I went on a search to find some comfortable footwear and discovered Oofos.
While the sandals and clogs that Oofos offers looks like other ones you have seen out in the marketplace, trust me, they don’t feel like them at all! Once you slip your foot into an Oofos shoe, you will immediately feel the difference and it’s a difference you can’t live without! (at least in my personal opinion).
All of the Oofos shoes have a patented foot-bed design, a material called OOfoam and let me tell you, it’s like stepping onto a soft cloud! The foot-bed is 37% more impact absorbing than any EVA foot-bed that is commonly used in footwear today. The OOfoam technology: absorbs shock to lessen pain, reduces fatigue & restores vigor and delivers unparalleled cushioning to recharge & rejuvenate your feet.
For my review, I received the OOcloog (clog) to try out for all of you. This clog comes in black or plum colors and is for both men & women. (I selected the black). Regarding sizing, I recommend ordering true-to-size.
The clogs are styled like your classic clog, but feature the patented OOfoam foot-bed. You simply slip your foot in/out of the clog and they are super flexible…meaning, no break-in period needed. The foot-bed is textured on the inside, so if you want to wear them with no sock…you can, although I prefer to wear mine with a sock.
One of the nice things I noticed about their foot-bed is the nice high arch support which I definitely need in all of my shoes! In addition, the sole on the OOcloog is thicker than other similar clogs and I really appreciate that, because when I am outdoors, I hate feeling “gravel and stones” underneath my feet. With these thicker soles, I feel nothing but complete comfort!
I have been wearing these clogs almost non-stop since receiving them a week ago! I love how comfortable they are on my feet and my legs seem to never get tired while I am wearing them. You can wear them year round (winter with a sock) and in the summer (without a sock). Right now it’s cold and wet here in PA and let me tell you, my feet are super comfortable, toasty warm and dry when I wear these clogs! They are my new “FAVORITE” go-to clogs! Yeah!!!
