For our review, the company sent us a 4 oz. bottle of their Bushmen’s Buchu Muscle Relaxing Bath Oil Drops which comes packaged in an amber colored glass bottle with a dropper.
Product Info: Unleash the secret pain reliever unearthed by the “bushmen” of southern Africa hundreds of years ago. It is believed that their observation of wild animals rubbing against the Buchu bush lead to their discovery of the plants muscle relaxing anti-spasmodic properties. (if you are pregnant, lactating or have a heart condition, do not use this product).
My 67 year old mother suffers terribly from Fibromyalgia and has chronic bone, joint and muscle pain. I decided to let my mother review this item for all of us. The product contains wild African oils and pure plant extracts for a muscle relaxing bath soak.
To use the product, you simply fill up your bathtub with warm water. As the water is running into the tub, add one to two dropper fulls of the bath oil to your water. Hop into the tub and lay in the water for a relaxing soak. Please note, this is a bath oil, so your tub will be slippery when you go to get out of it.
My mom has been taking a nightly bath using this bath oil for the past 3 nights. So far, she hasn’t found a reduction in her muscle pain just yet, but she does state that she feels much more relaxed when she gets out of the tub and goes to bed. She states that she is able to fall asleep faster at night, because she is so relaxed. She is going to continue to use it, so that she can get the additional benefits out of it as she uses it over time.
Mom states that she loves the light “earthy” scent of the bath oil and she does caution you that your bathtub will be slippery. She says that it’s best to thoroughly rinse out your tub between each use. Overall, my mother is really enjoying this product and gives it a big two thumbs up!

I finally bought some of this – 5 spa hands up! I love the scent – it is a bit earthy but still very pleasant and relaxing. I’ve used it on my washcloth after cleansing in the shower for an in-shower aromatherapy treatment combined with a bit of occlusive moisturizing and it was fantastic!
I am glad that your mother has been able to get a good night’s sleep after using this product. I am a little worried about the bath tub becoming too slippery. I am curious if it will eventually help her pain too. Then I’d love to use it for my arthritis.

Thank you and your mother for the review. I am glad she is sleeping better. I was interested in this product for arthritis I have in my knees. I wish it had had a big impact with muscle pain, but a good night’s sleep is great, too. You never know with products what type of results they have. I would be interested in knowing how your mother feels after being on it for a couple weeks.
