For the past few months I have been telling you all about our new (old) house and all of the home remodeling projects we have been doing to it. Well, we finally moved into our new house last month and realized that we are very limited on bedroom closet space which is typical with older homes.
My master bedroom closet is really small and I needed a closet makeover, so that I could fit all of my winter clothing inside it. Last weekend my husband installed new wire shelving into the closet and this week, my new 121 pc. Slimline Closet Makeover Kit from Only Hangers arrived.
You can find all kinds of different hangers at this store for your tops, bottoms, suits, coats, etc. They have wooden hangers, bamboo hangers, slimline hangers, plastic hangers, metal hangers and even hangers for children’s clothes!
For this review I received the 121 pc. Slimline Closet Makeover Kit to review for all of you. When my box arrived, I was immediately impressed with the design of these hangers!
The hangers are very “slim” in their design and are coated in a velvet-like material…this velvet keeps your garments securely on the hanger, nothing slips off of them and trust me, I tried! (gave them good shakes and nothing fell off of them!).
They feature a metal hanging hook which I really like and they can hold your lightest garments to your heavier jackets with no problems at all. I love their shape which fills out my tops, blouses and shirts…perfectly with no shoulder creases at all. The hangers come in 9 different colors, so you can select the color that goes best with your home decor. To go along with my new hangers, the company also sent me matching cascading hooks and finger clips too!
I immediately got busy transferring some of my shirts, blouses and sweaters onto the Slimline Hangers. I found it really easy to get my garments on/off of the hangers and I loved that I didn’t need to clip them to the hanger thanks to that velvety coating which grips your garments nicely.
If you look at my photo above…you can see on the left side some of my tops on my new hangers (need to finish getting the rest of my clothing transferred to them) and on the right, you see the nice gap and then clothing on regular hangers. Well, that gap was NOT there before and my clothing was squashed into the closet! By switching over to these slimline hangers, I freed up more closet space to hang even more clothes! Yeah!!! I am super excited about that!
I love my new slimline closet hangers from Only Hangers and when I am done revamping my closet, hubby’s closet will be next, as I want to get him the Camel Slimline Hangers for pants and shirts. I seriously LOVE these hangers and will never go back to wooden or plastic hangers again!
