Chocolate Cherry Coffee Recipe

I love coffee and I always start my day off with a good cup of joe! As the day goes on, I like to enjoy another cup but usually prepare a flavored coffee to enjoy in the afternoon or early evening. Today, we wanted to share this recipe with all of you from the great folks over at Eight O’Clock Coffee.

Chocolate Cherry Eight O’Clock Coffee

1 rounded tbsp Eight O’Clock Coffee Original or Colombian Coffee per 6 oz cup (for brewing) OR
1 Eight O’Clock Coffee Original or Colombian Keurig® K-cup pack
2 chocolate covered cherry candies (such as Cella’s)
Whipped cream and maraschino cherry (optional)

Preparation: Place the chocolate covered cherry candies at the bottom of the mug. Pour freshly brewed coffee from pot over candies, or, if using a Keurig® brewer, brew coffee over candies, and stir until chocolate has melted. Cream or milk is optional as this gets sweet and creamy all on its own. Top with whipped cream and a cherry for an added touch.

I never would have thought of this – partly because chocolate covered cherries usually don’t last long enough to make them part of a coffee recipe. However now that you brought it to my attention I shall have to try tis

Never would have thought about something like this and could have done it during the holidays instead of eating those boxes of cella’s candies myself. Thanks for sharing!
