Here in my home…we enjoy many different types of cuisine. I grew up eating Mexican and American food and my husband grew up eating Italian and American food. I guess it’s pretty telling because I think that the cuisine you are “raised” on…usually ends up being your favorite as an adult. (in my experience…most of the times, but not always).
Once we started a family, we swore we would explore different cuisines right alongside the cuisines that each of us grew up enjoying. Recently we have been experimenting with some Asian cuisine and I have to admit, I really haven’t found too much Asian food that I like. However, my hubby and daughter….love it!
Another cuisine that we recently experimented with was Indian and none of us enjoyed that experiment at all…mainly because we are not fond of anything containing curry (a lot of Indian dishes do).
Personally, my favorite is and probably always will be Mexican and I know for a fact, hubby will always go for Italian.
When it comes to different cuisines, which one were you raised on? Which one is your favorite now that you are an adult? Do you enjoy trying out new cuisines?

I have always enjoyed experimenting with different cuisines, although I don’t like a lot of curry in my food. My favorites are still European cuisines.
I was raised by food-adventuresome parents and grew up eating all kinds of food. I like just about any kind, especially if it has seafood in it.
Indian cuisine is the best!
oh my husband an my favorite would be Chinese,we have a fave place that we love to go too,its just wonderful
I don’t think I could possibly name a favorite. I’m glad you are enjoying so many different types. We do, too. They typical “American” fare of steak, pizza, and hamburgers are great. I love Mexican. We’ll go for seafood or pasta some. My daughter even branched us out for Chinese and Japanese. My husband and I have really enjoyed it. She can’t get us interested in sushi, tofu, or meatless for the most part, but other than that we are willing to try. Bon appetit!
