Valentine’s Day Gifts from CorsetChick

I love lingerie. Not only is it beautiful, I think it has power.  Beautiful lingerie brings out confidence and puts a swagger in my step.  I doesn’t matter if anyone sees it; I know it’s there working its magic.  In my younger days I spent a pretty penny on silky and lacy things.  As I grew older, I went the more practical but pretty route and reserved the power lingerie for special occasions like anniversaries, birthdays, and just because I want to blow hubby’s mind days.  When Corset Chick asked if I’d be willing to give one of their goodies a go, I jumped at it.  Hubby’s birthday and Valentine’s Day are coming up quickly.

I was a little concerned I might not find something I’d like in my size, but there was no reason for it.  Corset Chick offers a fabulous selection of lingerie for women of all sizes, including a nice plus size section.  Corset tops, shapewear, sexy costumes, and corset dresses all called to me.  And the shoe section had a pair of boots I’ve been looking for.

The corset dresses reminded me of something I wanted to wear clubbing back in the day.  After careful consideration, I selected the Black Satin Under Bust Corset with matching G-string. It’s sexy and can be worn over clothing or all by itself.  First thing I noticed was how gorgeous it is.  And the quality is equal to a corset I spent much more on a dozen years ago.  I could not believe it retails for just $25.99!

It laces up the back for a custom fit and has hooks in front. They run extra small, and I am so glad CorsetChick clearly stated it on the item’s catalog page.  It might hurt the ego a bit to order a size larger than one usually wears, but it’s worth it to find the optimal fit.  While this will not go into regular rotation as far as my wardrobe, it will make a fab, funky, sexy, gothy and unexpected accessory for dinner, drinks, and dancing.  It is power lingerie to the nth degree and hubby liked it, too.
