While football players are gearing up for the upcoming Super Bowl XLVII, Animal Planet and Geico Stadium is getting ready for the exciting and adorable Puppy Bowl IX! A lovable lineup of all-star puppies compete in the cutest competition of the year for the ninth consecutive Puppy Bowl title. Puppy Bowl IX takes place on February 3rd, the same day as the Super Bowl but on Animal Planet channel. It is a cute break from the football game, if you are not into that sport, or your team is not playing and you are boycotting. LOL
This year, Animal Planet asked me to check out their ultimate Puppy Bowl Viewing Kit. Whether they’re watching for the thrill of the game, the Kitty Half-Time Show or the first ever squad of hedgehog cheerleaders, pups will lounge like kings and queens with these cool Animal Planet beds, blankets, toys, and other products that come with the kit. I knew that Lou would love to help review this so how could I refuse?

Louie was so excited when the box came. He was right there while it got opened, sniffing all of his new goodies. What fun! All of the Animal Planet products are top quality products and it shows. The pet bed is a super comfortable overstuffed bed that is great for small dogs or cats. My kitties have pretty much taken his bed over and are enjoying their afternoon naps in it.
Lou loves his warm blanket and I love the size! It is perfect for his naps and to take with us in the car. It is lightweight and easy to wash. Super cute! And you know his favorite item is the cute toy with the squeaker inside it. I don’t know if he loves the squeaker or hates it, but it is always the first thing to go! He loves his stuffed babies.
The last item is the great shampoo that is an oatmeal which he needs so badly. I just told him the day before he needed a bath and look what came. His coat is super delicate and so we have to be careful what we use on him for shampoos. This will get a workout over the weekend.
