Snowman White Chocolate Crackers Kiddie Treats Recipe

January 1, 2013 by Classystaff

Are your kids bored over a long holiday? Has it been rainy or too cold and snowy for them to be outdoors? Here is a cute indoor edible craft idea for winter that your kids can do easily and with just a little bit of help from you. These cracker teats are fun to make and are good too.

Snowman White Chocolate Crackers Kiddie Treats

1 or 2 tubs Baker’s White Chocolate (meltable in microwave)
1 box Ritz Crackers
Miscellaneous cookie & candy sprinkles

Read directions on the Baker’s white chocolate container. Melt the chocolate in the microwave following package directions. Once done, dip the round Ritz crackers into the melted chocolate, coating both sides. Hold cracker above container and allow the access chocolate to drain back into the cup. Lay dipped crackers out on a silicone baking mat or on waxed paper to set. They will firm up within a few minutes. As they are firming up, let the kids decorate their snow man faces by adding candy sprinkle eyes, nose, mouth, etc. After the decorations and chocolate is set, enjoy!

Another great way to enjoy Ritz crackers, although I am not sure they would last long enough to try this recipe. But the anticipation of white chocolate might encouragethem to wait.

These sound tasty! Usually I can’t keep ritz crackers in the house long enough to make anything. My kids love them.

How fun and cute! An easy winter day project and snack. I like recipes like these. For snowmen you can also dip Keebler elf cookies in white chocolate and decorate. We did this for Halloween as ghosts. Enjoy!
