Roux Maison Laundry Products for Your Delicate Clothing

January 19, 2013 by Classystaff

As moms, we know laundry challenges. Personally, we love beautiful delicate’s, but laundering them can be a delicate situation in itself. What about the specialty fitness clothing we have with the funny moisture wicking materials or other high performance fabric and materials. That is a laundering nightmare. Plus with my son being a team swimmer, his suits are made of specialty fabrics that I am terrified to deal with using normal detergents. Ruining one is an expensive mistake! Well, I have a fabulous solution for your delicate laundry issues; Roux Maison.

Roux Maison is a unique collection of eco friendly laundry products that utilize all naturally derived ingredients to produce fabric specific laundry detergent formulations. From sportswear to swim suits to lingerie and more, the range uses earth and fabric friendly ingredients to clean and conserve clothing, linens and home products alike.

My Thoughts: I was sent a bottle of the Roux Maison Essential Detergent for review in the Sweet Tea fragrance. This is a 16 ounce bottle that will do 40 loads and is great for high efficiency washers. The first thing I noticed was the amazing scent of this detergent – and I hate calling this a detergent. That to me means a harsh soap and this is anything but that.

As noted above, the Roux Maison products are made from lovely essential oils that are formulated to deal with your laundry needs. I had a stack of comforters that needed laundering and I was excited to try this new product. My cats had made a bed in them so I was looking at their mess like hair and stuff. So I used this to get them cleaned up!

For each giant load, I used 2 capfuls as recommended and let me tell you, I will very happy with the results. The scent of the comforters was amazing and they came out beautifully cleaned. This is a very low suds product so it is fine to front load machines. I love that it is a super, simple detergent. There is no fake chemical scent that gave me a headache and it is great for those with sensitive skin too. In fact this product is hypo-allergenic so if your kids or you have sensitive skin issues, you might need to try this line. Plus they come in 2 great scents or fragrance free!

I like the fact that the company has a separate stain remover and detergents just for swimwear and sportwear
