I think most of you know by now that I absolutely love to cook and bake. Matter of fact, I am pretty passionate about it and I love making new dishes to present to my family for their enjoyment. With that said, I am always looking for the newest and greatest cookware, bakeware, kitchen tools and other foodie related products to make my cooking & baking even easier.
The company sent me several products to try out for all of you and let me tell you…I was in HEAVEN once my box arrived!
First up, the 11 Piece Porcelain Mix and Measure Set by Denmark Tools For Cooks. This 11 piece set includes a 2 1/2 quart porcelain mixing bowl, 5 porcelain measuring cups and 5 porcelain measuring spoons. I love using porcelain in my kitchen because of it’s nonstick properties. This is a commercial quality set made from high fired vitrified porcelain and it’s non-porous surface doesn’t absorb moisture, odor and oil. It is strong and chip-resistant, so it will last for years with proper care.
Next up is the Set of Two 9.5 x 5 x 2.25 inch Porcelain Loaf Pans with Racksby Denmark Tools For Cooks. This 2 piece loaf pan set includes the loaf pans and the removable racks. These are commercial quality loaf pans made from high-fired vitrified porcelain, just like the mix and measure set above. You can use the racks when baking a meatloaf or remove them for when you are baking a loaf of bread.
For the review, I whipped up my family’s favorite meatloaf recipe using every item that I received for the review. I love that the mixing bowl is deep and has 2 pour spouts or use those 2 pour spouts as handy handles. I was able to put enough ingredients inside this mixing bowl to make 2 large meat loafs. I used the measuring cups and the measuring spoons to measure out my ingredients and I love that the measuring cups are stackable when not in use.
Once I had my mixture prepared, I split it in half and spooned 1/2 of the mixture into each loaf pan with the rack placed in the bottom of each pan. This rack helps to drain away the grease to make a “more” healthier meat loaf. I placed my loaf pans into a preheated 350 degree oven and baked our meat loaf for 50 minutes, until it was nice and done. I then removed them from the oven, left them cool for about 5 minutes and then served dinner to my family.
I was super impressed with the performance of these loaf pans. I had even heating/baking, the grease drained to the bottom (underneath the rack) and we experienced no sticking at all. The meat loaf was very easy to slice and serve directly from the loaf pan! Yeah!!!
